Festibelly 2010 Tshirts:

Festibelly 2010 is just around the corner & it's shaping up to be yet another amazing year! The Festibelly team have just signed a host of new acts to play at the festival including Radio 1 legend 'Rob Da Bank'. Here's what he had to say “I’m really excited to be playing Festibelly. I like to support smaller and emerging festivals and Festibelly is definitely one of the best of the new breed.”

The lads over at the Festi' HQ asked if I could come up with a souvenir tee for the upcoming event. They also have an optional 'DIY Tye Dye' service setup on the field, where you can customise your new tee in true psychedelic festival fashion. I'll post some pics after the fest.
Click here for a closer look. To find out more about Festibelly & to get tickets to the upcoming event (Saturday 29th August, 2010), visit www.festibelly.com.

Festibelly 2010 Festival Site:

My good mate
Ash (the flash) Winch & I just launched the new 2010 site for the good lads over at Festibelly Festival. Here's a little about the festival...

"Set amongst the beautiful surroundings of The New Forest, Festibelly is a magical one day / one night celebration of live music, DJ’s, art and food. With two sell-out years under its belt, Festibelly has grown in capacity from 500 beginnings in 2008 to a 2,000 capacity event in 2010. A huge Belly-hug to all those that have helped make Festibelly what it is today, by performing, helping out, or just by being there, roll on 2010!

Festibelly is an organic and homegrown event and it’s important to us to keep it that way by embracing the intimate and friendly vibe that each and every Belly–goer helps create.

Festibelly's
lineup will feature a truly diverse selection of the finest new acts around. We love it all, from reggae to rockabilly, dubstep to disco, there’s something for everyone! We support up and coming performers of all sorts, local New Forest traders, suppliers and charities." - Check the site out here: www.festibelly.com

Festibelly Festival Murals:

If you're at a loose end this weekend, make your way down to the New Forest (UK) for some Festibelly action. The lads over at FB asked if I'd like to paint a couple of 8x4ft murals for the event. One is a fairly straight forward logo panel & the other is a character based painting which is going to have the faces cut out of it, to be used as a carnival style 'stand behind & pop-your-head-through for a photo-op' type of thing.
I've popped some photos up here. (Acrylic & Aerosol on MDF).

The Doodle Bar Grand Opening (5th June):

Well what a night it was! The Grand Opening of the now infamous
Doodle Bar in Battersea was a massive success, with hundreds upon hundreds of doodlers turning out for a beer fuelled scribblathon. "White-washed from top to bottom and with an illustrated map of LONDON weaving across the walls, participants are encouraged to DOODLE on the wall map, tables, chairs and even the waiters. We believe in the Freedom of Doodle. The Doodle Bar supports creativity in the community and will be hosting exhibitions and events, classes and workshops throughout summer 2009. Come and doodle and support the launch of our recession-proof credit crunch cafe on 5th June when we will be unveiling our exciting Events Calendar for the following weeks." - For more info see The Doodle Bar website!

Photos from the night are up on Flickr here.

Street Fest Aftermath (East London):

Street Fest is an East London urban festival featuring a showcase of music, live art & fashion, skateboarding & bmx demos as well as some mighty fine Japanese food. Sunday's event was a huge success with over 1500 people coming through the doors on the hottest day of the year so far. Shouts to Sichi for making it all happen. I look forward to the next one in August! Here are a couple of pix of the canvas I did on the day... but you can see a whole bunch of other pix from the event on Flickr, here.
